I really have no idea where this is, other than quite a few miles west from Buffalo.

This is some where in the vicinity of Salt Lake City.

Even though it was dark and we couldn't see anything, we had to stop at this place, that I had first heard of when I was just a kid.

We have reached Nevada.

We took a break near Lake Tahoe.

Actually, where we pulled over, was overlooking Lake Tahoe.

This was a "ranch".  Nevada is pretty well known for having these "ranches".

At last we are in San Francisco, California.

Here, we have the former resort for bad boys, Alcatraz.

We came across this Plymouth dealership, where we had some work done on the van. We had had some technical problems, that needed fixing.

Our next stop was in Monterey.

We spent the next 5 days in Hollywood.  While we were in the area, we visited Universal Studios.

While we were there, we also came across 77 Sunset Strip, which was a strip joint named after the TV show which some of you might remember.
